Simple and awesome should be a core feature. I found myself using custom search engines for more accurate seearch results when consulting API docs.

I was looking for something like this, but it would not allow using https://%s as the search url, so uninstalled. I think it was exactly what I was looking for, save that small validation done IMO wrong.

I really love this function. Back in the days where the search box was a default to firefox. I think 3 or few years back. It use to be "add-to-search". I am not sure if your the same developer. But non the less, thanks a lot

It's a must have extension. This should be a native function imho, but this extension make the work and make it very well. Thank you!!! :)

edit: figured it out, though seems quirky
Used to work now I get this: When I manually enter a search engine and press "Add custom search engine" I get sent to the "Adding a new search engine via the URL bar" page, showing how to add a search engine with the 3 dot menu, but the option in the 3 dot menu never appears for the sites im trying to add. just like the other guy, will also fix the rating if the issue is fixed.
