End User License Agreement (EULA) for VETO

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and the VETO project maintainers for the use of the VETO browser extension ("the Software"). By installing or using the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA.
1. License Grant
This web extension is free and open-source software (FOSS) distributed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPLv3). You are free to:
- Use, modify, and distribute the Software for any purpose.
- Access, study, and improve the source code (available at: https://github.com/veto-firewall/veto).
Conditions:
- Any distributed modifications must also be licensed under GPLv3.
- You must include the original license and copyright notices with any distribution.
- The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind.
2. No Warranty
THERE IS NO WARRANTY FOR THE PROGRAM, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. EXCEPT WHEN OTHERWISE STATED IN WRITING THE COPYRIGHT HOLDERS AND/OR OTHER PARTIES PROVIDE THE PROGRAM "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE PROGRAM IS WITH YOU. SHOULD THE PROGRAM PROVE DEFECTIVE, YOU ASSUME THE COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR OR CORRECTION.
3. Privacy
The Software does not collect, store, or transmit any user data to our servers. All functionality operates locally within your browser. See our Privacy Policy for more information on how your data is handled.
4. Updates
The Software may automatically check for updates. These updates are designed to improve, fix, or enhance the Software and may take the form of bug fixes, enhanced functions, new software modules, or completely new versions.
5. Third-Party Components
The Software may use third-party components or services (such as MaxMind GeoIP database) which may have their own licenses and terms. Use of such components is subject to their respective terms.
6. Termination
This EULA is effective until terminated. Your rights under this EULA will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies.
