- Rated 5 out of 5by QSBraWQ, 10 months agoThis is the rating I would give if it worked. I am in russia, and this thing requires a website sign-in, which is region blocked. (or firewalled or whatever). So it's a vpn that you can't acess without a vpn. I could get this on mobile though, I don't know why it doesn't allow to do so on pc, but on mobile this thing is awesome. But mannnnn, please fix this for russia, and make a sign in an app thing, like on mobile, or something. It's such a shame that it works so good, but only in parts.

posted 10 months agoHello,
I would recommend to download the desktop application instead in such case, you can do it from GitHub which hopefully shouldn't be geo-blocked:
Windows: github.com/ProtonVPN/win-app/releases
macOS: github.com/ProtonVPN/ios-mac-app/releases
Linux: should be available via apt, yum, etc. - Rated 5 out of 5by Teru, 10 months agoIn my view, it would be beneficial to rename this extension as Proton Proxy to prevent any misconceptions about its effectiveness compared to the Proton VPN app.
