- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 18285487, 8 months agoThe Chrome plugin works flawlessly, but this Firefox 'port' at first wouldn't, giving me a Blocked error message when I clicked on download. It apparently has something to do with Cross Origin restrictions.
I tried several things, including Private mode, but in the end the only thing that worked for me (in standard mode too) was the "Allow CORS: Access-Control-Allow-Origin" by Muyor plugin. Disable uBlock Origin or whatever for Archive.org just in case.
Please add this tip to your plugins description. So far 2 succcessful artbook PDF downloads at Max Resolution. And thank you for creating this. I wish there was a way to grab the original Jp2s instead of Jpg, but I haven't found one yet (not a coder).Developer response
posted 8 months agoThe extension for Firefox was not perfect. Integration of "allow cors" function into the extension does not always work for all Firefox releases on all platforms. The reason is unknown. Fewer people encounter the problem. Applying a thirdparty "cors" extension is an alternative. Or you can use Chrome instead. - Rated 5 out of 5by D31an, 8 months agoIt works great! Many Thanks to the Developer!
It would be much better, though, if the Developer could actually create am .EXE software for doing this in stead of mere Browser's Extension. Also, Browser's downloads could more stable.Developer response

- Rated 5 out of 5by primalphoenix, 10 months agoWorked perfectly, had none of the network errors or blocked file issues like others have had. Perfect the first time.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Horace Green, a year agoIt literally does not even work. It says "File download was blocked." when I try to download. Pointless garbage. This should be removed.
- Rated 5 out of 5by ANZ, a year agoWorks great! - If you find an error when downloading from Archive.org, make sure to go into the extension's settings and enable all permissions as per previous reviews

- Rated 5 out of 5by North Star, a year agoThe Open Library c/o *IA* appeals to me for its huge repository of out-of-print books. PDF-searches for most of them on the Web are futile. Time and again, though, I've seen some kind soul had uploaded the title to IA, saving what might otherwise go to the book boneyard.
Another humanitarian of books is the dev of this ext., without whom there'd be no way for IA users to archive their own copies. In doing so they ensure the viability of the texts. I'm impressed as hell. - Rated 5 out of 5by Danny S., a year ago
