by OneSource, 4 years agoTHE BEST! THE ONLY RSS EXTENSION YOU WILL EVER NEED! This extension caught me be surprised to say the least. Before downloading Feedbro I never really used/knew/or cared about RSS feeds, but now I will never go back! Feedbro isn't like other RSS/Feed Readers, most only have the ability to display RSS feeds, meaning you have to find/copy/paste the address of the feed and for the most part that isn't an issue, but with Feedbro's ability to Grab a Feed from a page you are able to do all types of things with it. For instance, the online platform that my college uses for our course information is coded in such a way that allows Feedbro to grab the contents of certain/different pages and update the content as they update. I would love a Feedbro app: something that can interact with the desktop and syncs the user's information/feeds. So the app wouldn't need all of the functionality of the extension, but if there was something to install that could be pinned to the Start Menu as a Live Tile. There are some in the Microsoft store already but they are not as clean as Feedbro, also the ability to just sync feeds would be nice.

When selecting a folder from the article preview card, it is unclear which feed it belongs to, and there is no way to quickly delete the corresponding feed as no longer interesting.
When selecting Statistics, some feeds are immediately marked as Selected. Why?
RMB in the news list unexpectedly works like SMB.
There is no cloud syncing of feeds via browser, nor via Google Drive/Dropbox connection.
Mozilla Firefox 140.0b1 (64-bit), Feedbro 4.16.3 (Mar 24, 2024), Microsoft Windows 10.0.19045.5854. - Rated 4 out of 5by andrenix, a month agoIt is very good, almost perfect. The rules feature is very complete.
Unfortunately it lacks a "search" feature (or I couldn't find it), which would be very useful. - Rated 5 out of 5by Dra Vu, a month ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by McNamara, 3 months agoI wanted to get the feed article in full through your help file so that I could read the articles offline.
When only online, it just shows the web page.
After going offline, it searches the content by trying to connect again
Please let me know if you could improve it further. And provides the content offline
Then I don't have to search one which provides such feature

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14020785, 3 months agoThis has been the perfect feed reader for my needs, lots of functionality, except: I miss a way to move my starred articles over to a new browser installation. Is there a way to do this? Some of these articles are a couple of years old.

It would be sensational if the template changed automatically at sunset from light to dark. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13529995, 4 months ago

Can't make it work in private windows in spite of setting it to do so.
Couldn't find a way to give feedback to Nodetics - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13272506, 4 months agoSo far the best RSS add-on, but it definitely needs an undelete / recycle-bin option!
Edit 2025.03.16: Lately it keeps losing all messages (read/unread) messages after browser restart. Peeping for alternatives... - Rated 5 out of 5by corujo, 4 months agoDoes everything it says on the tin, it's simple and lightweight.
just needs an option to limit/block notifications on startup
