by Firefox user 14280828, 7 years agoNice browser based RSS reader. There are a few features that I miss from my standalone readers (Thunderbird, QuiteRSS, RSSOwl).
- Like to navigate the RSS article items using the keyboard arrow keys.
- I would like the reading pane (view mode) to give an option to have the reading pane on the bottom and not just the right.
- In the magazine view mode, it would be nice to have the option to load and then navigate content in the pane rather than in a separate tab. The only options I see are either a summary or just the initial page.
Otherwise, good and functional add-on.

1. You can see all keyboard shortcuts when you press the "?" icon in the toolbar. Navigation with up and down arrow between articles is not intentionally possible because it would screw up scrolling the article in view.
2. "Reading pane at the bottom" won't be implemented since it leaves very little space for the actual article. I know many users are accustomed to this type of view but you'll find that viewmode 3 is superior to that especially with modern widescreen displays.
3. In viewmodes 2, 4 and 5 you can click elsewhere in the article text/image to expand it within Feedbro (so don't click the article title, click e.g. the summary text in magazine mode).

- Rated 5 out of 5by Narendran Gopalakrishnan, 20 days agoThe best among those I have tried. Recently chrome blocked it due to MV3, and I switched to Feedbro on Firefox, but find that Alt+{1,2,3,4,5} of firefox are overridden when on the Feedbro page. A minor hitch.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Jean-Michel Molinas, a month agoI like very much this applications but it is the third time I lost all my feed subscriptions (windows update, firefox synchronisation) and I found there is no way to save automatically my feed subscriptions somewhere I could find it in case of breakdown. Please could you implement such a feature?

- Rated 3 out of 5by AverageJoe, 2 months agoUI is somewhat counterintuitive; when I added a feed to "Root", its contents populated the extension's menu (when you click its icon in the extension menu), not what I would have expected-that's all. Seems adding all your feeds to one menu is not what most people would want to do (probably should be an option there to create a new folder). The options UI has gratuitous animations, with no apparent option to turn off animations.

Fail for large and regular text

When selecting a folder from the article preview card, it is unclear which feed it belongs to, and there is no way to quickly delete the corresponding feed as no longer interesting.
When selecting Statistics, some feeds are immediately marked as Selected. Why?
RMB in the news list unexpectedly works like SMB.
There is no cloud syncing of feeds via browser, nor via Google Drive/Dropbox connection.
Mozilla Firefox 140.0b1 (64-bit), Feedbro 4.16.3 (Mar 24, 2024), Microsoft Windows 10.0.19045.5854. - Rated 4 out of 5by andrenix, 3 months agoIt is very good, almost perfect. The rules feature is very complete.
Unfortunately it lacks a "search" feature (or I couldn't find it), which would be very useful. - Rated 5 out of 5by Dra Vu, 3 months ago
