this software provides very limited functionality being capable of saving only videos in limited qualities and no MP3-files at all. to me it didn't do most of the things they are advertising on their feature list.

I do understand the developers would love to get some money but sorry guys, too little functionalities available in the free version.

I looked for a downloader with 1080 possibility as I use a free 720 so far. This one promises 1080, but if you want to use it, you must pay.
My trust to Mozilla suffers, when these white knights allow such black ones to make me a victim. So if money is needed Firefox should tell beforehand. Its a question of honour.

In order to actually use the extension's selling point, you have to pay for it. At that point, you're better off recording whatever it is you want to download in WASAPI.

Strange that you have to buy an upgrade to get decent quality files when the excuse is clearly a lie. Jdownloader is able to do it without lying to me about how the files are stored on Youtube.
If crappy quality files and fake excuses to pay for an upgrade sounds good to you then you've found your Add-on.

Easy or free is just another for upselling a "pro" version which by other reviews works as bad. Stay clear.

(updated 21/07/2020) Do NOT pay for this, you WILL regret it. Latest scammy move is to claim that they "have switched to a new PRO authorisation system" meaning that ALL the authorization links everybody paid for, no longer work... I paid in february which, (according to their own info), means my payment email and key should already be on their system. - It isn`t. Pasting either my paypal email OR key into their settings field, does NOTHING. So I cannot re-authorize unless I pay again. Its a rip-off, pure and simple, don`t fall for it.

This is an extremely misleading app to claim to be "free". You can't download anything much with decent quality unless its a paid subscription. How on earth is this a "Recommended" in Firefox addon is beyond me? Does Firefox take a share of the profit too?

LYING ADD-ON. It says "we are only asking for a one-time donation." On 22.11.2019 the service went on strike, with the reason "Youtube ...no longer provides direct ... mp3 streams". I paid 25 $. On 22.02.2020 Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express stroke again with exactly the same scam "Youtube ...no longer provides direct ... mp3 streams". That is what I call lying.

Have to pay to get FULL HD

Now it can't even show its green button after Youtube's design change. Shows a popup on every opened page which becomes a blank rectangle unless this add-on is disabled or deleted.
