- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13677097, 7 years agoStarted to add it to FF, and a message popped up "Requires permission to:
*access data for all web sites, and
*download files and read and modify the browser's download history"
So, I discontinued the add on, I am not allowing this - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13674618, 7 years agoNot free for HD content anymore so I'll have to find another add-on.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Joseph Short, 7 years agoThis guy doesn't tell you that you have to pay to download 1080 until you actually try. Dishonest!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Girish Sharma, 7 years agonot sure why this is a featured addon. I guess Mozilla doesn't try out the addons themselves anymore.
First off, any lower resolution video download link results in 403 Forbidden page. Downloading the MP# results in a prompt to upgrade to PRO version. In short, The only feature of this addon - download videos from youtube - does not work at all for any resolution for either video nor audio. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13643852, 7 years agoMoved to a subscription service... it is not free
- Rated 1 out of 5by Euler13, 7 years agoThis was a great add-on and still works brilliantly for 720p MP4 or less quality. But they recently changed it so that unless you're willing to pay for the PRO version, then it no longer downloads MP3 or 1080p MP4. Mozilla should separate out add-ons that everyone can use from premium service add-ons.

They really put the "ad" in add-on - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13467060, 7 years agoDoesn't let you download videos in hardly any of the available formats including MP3s when using old youtube layout. I even grabbed the older version of the add on too, guess what? Plenty of people still use the old layout.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13633810, 7 years agoBait and switch. Plugin page states you can dload 1080p, but it doesnt mention that is only when you "upgrade to pro" until after you actually try to dload a file from youtube in 1080p.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13618816, 8 years agoSeems to require (paid) upgrade to Pro version to scrape MP3s from YouTube. Pass.

- Rated 1 out of 5by balab, 8 years agofirst, this extension asks you to upgrade to pro at a fee to start downloading audio streams in 256kbps mp3. secondly, clicking on download as .mp4 forces you to install a native extension that corrupts your windows installation (tested in x64 win10). even after recovering from the corruption and reinstalling with a clean boot, the native extension still forces you on its page when you click on download as .mp4.
all in all, the worst extension i've ever come across. 1click youtube download works far better in all res, hell, even lets you download in 1080p. - Rated 1 out of 5by ZaliaS, 8 years ago
