Personal data
The Picker allows the user to log in to their Citavi account to store information in the user's cloud projects. Regarding the creation of the account, please refer to our privacy policy at www.citavi.com/privacy.

Project-related data
When the user uses the add-on, information about the web page and/or information from the web page is sent to the desktop application or the cloud application to be stored in the user's Citavi projects, see also the "About this extension" section https://cup.aihedy.com/en-US/firefox/addon/citavi-picker/.
Beyond that, the information is not used for any other purpose, subject to the explanations under "Technical Specifications".

Technical Specifications
When using the add-on, errors may occur under certain circumstances. To better analyze and resolve these errors, we may ask the user to enable the "Create activity log" option in the gear menu. In this case, the user's interactions with the add-on and the affected Project-related data will be collected separately by Microsoft's Application Insights service and provided to the Citavi team for analysis.
