Reinstalled 1Password app...no luck. Support appears to be nonexistent for this problem

Apparently the trial ended and I paid for a Family subscription. I don't know why because I am a widower, living alone. My four children live with their families.
I tried setting up 1Password last September 26 and found it difficult to set up and I didn't have time to play with it.
Just yesterday, Aug 3, Firefox Monitor notified me that they have found my email address in a new data breach. So I thought of trying to setup 1Password again. And now I see that I am not 'computer savvy' and see that the setup is CONFUSING AS HELL!! I want my money refunded. I need something much simpler.Developer response

I'm a 5+ year user, and this is the least bad option for now, but I'm really looking forward to switching to anything else.

После 6 версии, это просто боль и разочарование. Куда делись папки? Почему столько багов? Почему нельзя нормально импортировать записи? Почему перестала запускаться шестая версия? Могу продолжать долго и гораздо подробнее. Ухудшилось абсолютно все. И за это еще и просят подписку. Мы будет рисовать новые формочки, а вы платите, платите. Пластмассовый мир победил.

It was very difficult to delete his name.
There is no one to talk to. Not even a chatbot.
1Password decided to not recognize my desktop computer today and wanted my secret key??
I want to know if all my passwords are in 1Password so I can I delete the ones on my computer.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Drone Pilot, 2 years agoKeep asking to log in the app each time I try to enter a password, and thus, despite the fact the app and extension are already logged in. UN-installing and reinstalling the extension fix the issue for a bit, but then it start all over again, asking to login again and again.

2/21: Still getting worse. Never stays in sync with desktop app so entering passcode twice. App is excruciatingly slow in firefox compared to others in doing anything.
They're compromising developer experience at the cost of consumer convenience. It's slower than previous versions, more intrusive in the most inconvenient of ways and now is just lipstick on a really bad UX. Only benefit is outside of owning your password management, they're the only ones left with security.Developer response

I don't know what was changed in one of the more recent updates but it seems to be hijacking the address bar and form fields in a way that I have to click multiple times to manually enter any text. ABNOXIOUSDeveloper response

Pop-up window blocks the very form items I want to complete. Show in Large Type, essential for filling in selecting character type verification now produces a much larger window that covers the fields I need to fill, cannot be moved, and disappears the moment you click off of it (it used to remain on screen until dismissed). Don't the developers actually use the product. I need to figure out how to revert to an earlier, functional version.

It asks for master password almost every time I want to use it, after spending about 5 seconds thinking whether to ask it or not.

Please send an email to support+x@1password.com so our team can discuss this. - Rated 1 out of 5by JS, 3 years agoJust doing the upgrade to v8 and nothing but problems. Finally managed to get the extension installed and the icon showing up in the toolbar.
HOWEVER, 1Password does not let me use it without turning off "Never remember history" and/or "Always use private browsing mode". Never had this issue before so unsure why now, and can't seem to get an answer or solution from 1Password support.
Seems crazy to me that all of a sudden I have to give up privacy and browsing preferences to be able to use this program. Deal breaker for me so I'm hoping support can help in the end.Developer response

1Password for Firefox needs the ability to write to the local database to store data. If Firefox is configured to always launch in Private Browsing mode, then 1Password doesn't have the ability to write to that local database.
If you'd like to use 1Password in Firefox as well as browse in Private Browsing mode, configuring Firefox to not open in Private Browsing mode automatically, then manually launching a Private Browsing window would be your best bet. You can configure 1Password to be allowed in Private Browsing mode in the extension settings page. Developer response
