by LoneDragon38, 5 years agoHi, I am a user from AdGuard. I am a young person to use AdGuard program. So I have been using AdGuard program on my Windows PC since 2018. On before that I haven’t use AdGuard, I was wondering how to block ads easily? Then, I watched a video about this program. I was surprised like “Oh really?”. And I am very excited about the AdGuard program and started searching on web. I found the AdGuard’s Official Website and I downloaded it immediately. The effect is powerful! Before: Lots of ads from YouTube / Websites. After: No ads! I am so happy for this so that I installed it on my iOS / Mac and my android devices as well 😃. After that, I told my friends and parents about AdGuard and the features, they are so happy about the AD Block effect! By the way, I used a AD-Block program called AdBlockPlus. The effect is not that good and I think AdGuard is way better than that program. AdGuard’s GUI is so cool for me xD and I love it. I rate this program 5 stars and I hope AdGuard can help worldwide people to have No-ADS experience in their life. Thanks, AdGuard!

It is to the point where I have to have the Settings pinned on the task bar and have the Ad block manually turned on because It auto shuts off after browser shut down or PC restart.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Asterion, 7 days agoExtremely geeky. Unintuitive interface of many, many switches. Not at all clear what does what. Does not integrate (or recognise) that I already have it installed on MacOS and in Safari, so thinks it is a standalone FireFox extension. Consequently, much duplication of settings. Seems to ignore / not see MacOS Adguard settings. And with all that, it fails to actually block ads — well, I can hear them, I just can't see them, and I am forced to watch a blank screen for the duration of the hidden-but-audible adverts! So, all in all... Non-functional at best and lazily unintuitive and frustrating at worst. My view: Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!
