About this extension
This add-on replaces the modern digraph "th" with the old "þ" character. This character used to be used for the interdental fricative (th) sound until the introduction of the printing press. Since most came from Germany or Italy where the thorn character was not used, printers first replaced it with "y" (as in "ye olde"), and then "th".
