• Geographic location data of web servers (through MaxMind GeoIP database, processed locally only)

User Settings (Stored Only on Your Device)

• Your configured filtering rules and preferences
• MaxMind license key if provided by you

How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used solely for:
- Implementing your chosen website filtering rules
- Storing your preferences locally on your device
- Providing the functionality you expect from the extension

Data Storage

No user data is ever sent to our servers or any third parties. All information is stored exclusively on your local device using browser storage mechanisms:
- Your filtering rules and preferences are saved in browser.storage
- No data is transmitted to external servers
- We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies

MaxMind GeoIP Database

If you choose to use GeoIP and ASN filtering features:
- You will need to provide your own MaxMind license key
- Geographic lookups are performed locally
- No browsing data is sent to MaxMind servers
- Your MaxMind license key is stored locally and used only for database downloads

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information:
- All extension code is open source and can be audited
- We don't collect or transmit your browsing history
- Your preferences and rules remain on your device

Third-Party Services

The extension does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not share any information with third parties because we don't collect any data in the first place.
