od uživatele Tehhutch, před rokemRemoved after years of use, My browsing session being interrupted by tabs informing me of updates, then nagging for donations is more annoying than the ads it's supposed to block.. I get that developers need support, but there's better ways of doing this.
"Once per browser per device" every time an "update" is pushed out is a terrible way of doing this and false when I see the tab opened several times in an evening during a browsing session.
ABP could do better, instead I have removed it and moved on to other add-ons as it's not worth the headache or interruptions. There are better, more competitive tools out there these days, that behave better than this... Sorry but you could do better.

We are updating the extension, therefore a popup might appear (it will only happen once per browser/device), but you can simply close it and continue browsing. If you are seeing many payment tabs all at once or encountering the payment page every time you open your browser, please reach out to us via support@adblockplus.org.
Here's more about how our contribution page works: For non-Premium users, we populate the page when we update the extension to keep you informed on changes we've made and as a reminder to support Adblock Plus if you find the software beneficial. We don't track who has previously paid unless your extension is already upgraded to Adblock Plus Premium (and in that case we won't show you the update page at all). Drew Gooden mentioned it in a video saying something like how adblock blocks all ads except for the adblock ad that you get once a week. I understand we should support financially, but updating and asking for support every week is excessive to say the least. Paying for adblock right now is also tough as Google actively tries to block all adblock tools. People recommend ublock. Going to try it for a bit. Thanks for the years of service, just doesnt seem worth it anymore. I dont even need youtube ads blocked. I just want website spam blocked. But the tool I use is the website spam I want blocked now.

I will never pay for this addon again. This is totally unacceptable. What a waste of a good idea. You guys should be ashamed of yourself.

On YouTube, mainly, and i downloaded ABP because of the ridiculous amount of ads on YouTube.
i also can't seem to escape pop-ups on other sites.
What's even more annoying is that i will occasionally get a pop-up FROM ABP with a message telling me to pay MORE money !!
What did i pay $40 for??!
And why does YouTube get to circumvent your service that i paid for?!
